Position Summary:
The Cultural Division, Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Washington D.C. office is recruiting an Academic Advisor. The Academic Advisor is responsible for all aspects of administering Kuwait Government scholarship programs including but not limited to providing academic advisement and counseling for a number of Kuwaiti sponsored students attending Universities in the Unites States and Canada.

Minimum Qualifications:
Earned Bachelor's Degree in Education, International Education, and Counseling or related field with minimum of 5 years of related experience. 

Minimum Requirements:
• Must have 5 years and above professional experience.
• Must have up-to-date knowledge of U.S. Higher Education, Immigration rules pertaining to international students/scholars.
• Must have the ability to function and perform day-to-day academic advising task in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-cultural environment.
• Position requires strong organizational communication.
• Computer literacy including skills with Internet research tools and social media.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, teamwork, critical thinking and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in educational institution.
• Previous experience in advising college and/or university international students.
• Awareness of multi-cultural settings.

Key Role - Develops effective, defect free source code that meets office requirements and team standards. Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Responsible for designing, coding and modifying website.
 
Required Qualifications:
Earned Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
 
Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrate strong understanding of software development/engineering.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills to design/administer/develop Database systems.
• Demonstrate strong experience in SQL database experience.
• Demonstrate strong programming skills. 
• Demonstrate strong software engineering/development experience creating web-based and mobile applications.
• Strong experience with: HTTP, SSL, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, and JavaScript and any other languages and technologies are plus.
• Demonstrate experience and understanding of data visualization tools.
